The Rural Utilities Service (RUS) is place for work of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), one of the federal executive departments of the United States. RUS traces its roots to the Rural Electrification Administration (REA), one amongst the Innovative Deal agencies created beneath President Franklin Delano Roosevelt many year ago. The REA was created in 1935 with the primary goal of promoting rural electrification. This is what brought light and power to those further away from the city enviornment.
